The Stone Oak Dance Company is the Stone Oak Dance Academy (SODA) competitive team. Stone Oak Dance Company is a Competition Team made up of talented students who love to dance and want to be a part of an elite group of dedicated individuals. The SODA Company is about motivating young minds to be the best that they can be. This special program is designed for dancers who strive to accomplish an advanced level of training. But it is not just a dance education; it’s a total education. Team dancers learn life skills through performances, attending unique workshops, working as a team and so much more. Our director, Mrs. Kelsea, believes that being involved in competitive dance develops positive self-esteem, confidence, accountability, and leadership in young dancers. SODA offers teams for ages 5 & up in a variety of styles and levels. The ages listed below are a general guideline. Dancers are placed on teams at tryouts based on ability, skill level, and execution. Kinder & Petite Company are by invitation only.
