6 weeks: June 11 – July 27 (no camp week of July 2nd)

Ages 6 – 18
Campers
perform in a Musical Show immersing themselves in the rehearsal and production process led by a NYC Director!

No audition is required. Every camper enrolled will perform in our production of Seussical, Jr.!

 

WHAT DO WE DO EACH DAY?
Camp meets Monday – Friday from 9am to 3pm.
Mornings: Campers will build skills essential for performance. Classes will focus on acting, dance, singing, choreography, and stagecraft.
Lunch: Campers should bring a sack lunch, snacks, and a water bottle each day.
Afternoons: Will be spent rehearsing the show ~ providing an outlet to apply the skills learned.

 

HOW MUCH DOES THE CAMP COST?
The total cost of the 6-week Camp is $975.00
* Discount for payment in full by May 1st.

*** Early drop-off/Late Pick-up available for a fee.

Price includes all classes, props, production fees, Camp T-shirt, Script, and Practice CD. Campers must provide their own Black pants for performance.

We’re Putting On A Show!
All of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child, who gets in trouble for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton’s challenge is twofold – not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

 WHEN ARE THE PERFORMANCES?
July 27 Studio Performance / Stone Oak Dance Academy Open to the public. Tickets are $5 and go on sale July 23rd.

 PAYMENT POLICY:
Tuition must be paid in full by July 1. All checks returned will be charged a $35.00 fee.

REFUND POLICY:
NO REFUNDS AFTER CAMP BEGINS. $325 deposit is non-refundable.

CANCELLATIONS:
Minimum enrollment is required. In the unlikely event that Camp is cancelled, tuition will be fully refunded.

MISSED SESSIONS:
We can not be responsible for a student’s decision to miss a day of camp. There will be no refunds or make-up sessions for an absentee.
